Lord Shiv is a highly respected and famous god in Hinduism. Shiv is also respected in most of the religions “Dharma” like Kirat, Jain, Buddhism, and Sikh. It is believed that Lord Shiv is the only one who created the whole universe. There are many stories that describe the presence of Shiv. One of the most popularly known stories is “Shiv Nirvanashaktam”. This Shiv Nirvanashaktam tells about the presences of Lord Shiv and the way to find him. According to the Shiv Nirvanshaktam, it is clearly mentioned that Shiv is inner consciousness. We cannot find him in any physical body structure, any form of presences. Shiv is beyond of origin and death. Only the inner consciousness and bless is the way to find Shiv. Everyone and everywhere is shiv. But no one can see him and feels his presences without feelings by inner consciousness.
According to Shiv Nirvastakam of the first paragraph tells that Shiv is not the mind, nor the intellect and the ego or the memory. He is not in any physical body shape. So, he is without the presence of ears, without skin and not the nose and not the eyes. Shiv himself is not space, not the earth not the fire and not the water and wind. But Shiv is in the form of supper consciousness and bliss, Yes, Shiv is eternal.
In the second paragraph, the Nirvanashaktam tells that Shiv is not the breath, not the five elements, not the matter or not the 5 sheaths of consciousness. Similarly, Shiv is not the speech, the hands or the feet, but he is in the form of supper consciousness and bliss. Yes, Shiv means eternal and consciousness.
In the third paragraph, the Nirvanashaktam tells that there is no like or dislike matter for Lord Shiv, and no greed or delusion. Also, he knows there is no pride or jealousy. He has not any duty any desire for wealth, lust or liberation. But he is supper consciousness and blesses. Yes, shiv means eternal consciousness and bless.
In the fourth paragraph, the Nirvanshaktam tells that there is no virtue or vice, no pleasure, and pain. He needs no matters any pilgrimage, no scriptures or rituals. Also, he is not the experienced, nor the experience itself. But he is in the form of consciousness and bliss. So he is eternal Shiv.
In the fifth paragraph, the Nirvanashaktam tells that Shiv has no fear of death, no caste or creed, and have no father and mother. This is what makes he was never born, so he is not a relative and nor a friend nor a teacher nor a student. He is nothing. But he is a form of consciousness and blesses. So Shiv is eternal.
In the sixth paragraph, the Nirvanashaktam tells that shiv devoid of duality, his form is formlessness, he exists everywhere, pervading all senses. Shiv is neither attached and neither free and nor captive. So shiv is in the form of consciousness and bliss.
Shiv Nirvanashaktam is all about internal shiv and consciousness. If we believe our self and try to find inner consciousness we will find Shiv. The inner consciousness within us is Shiv. This is the way to find Shiv within us. By chanting mantras and doing some religious practices, we can’t find our consciousness. So, finding our self is the way to live in consciousness and with Shiv.
